Job Summary:

The Technical Lead is a hands‑on working lead that bridges the gap between frontline execution and departmental supervision, offering strong technical expertise, day‑to‑day leadership, and task coordination within their assigned area.

• Serve as the primary resource for team members; provide troubleshooting support, guidance, and mentorship.
• Ensure team adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and productivity goals.
• Assist in training and onboarding new employees; reinforce skill development across the team.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and cross‑functional teams regarding workflow, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
• Identify and elevate equipment issues, process inefficiencies, or personnel concerns to management.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across production processes.
• Proven hands‑on experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment within the relevant department.
• Advanced understanding of department‑specific tools, materials, and processes.

• Work Experience:

• Maintain organization, cleanliness, and efficiency of the work area (5S practices encouraged).
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and cross‑functional teams regarding workflow, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
• Identify and elevate equipment issues, process inefficiencies, or personnel concerns to management.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across production processes.
• Proven hands‑on experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment within the relevant department.
• Advanced understanding of department‑specific tools, materials, and processes.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee sometimes works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to excessive noise, extreme heat, extreme cold, and heights. When participating in activities on the shop floor, the noise level in the work environment is typical for a fabrication shop and ear plugs may be used as necessary.
