SummaryThe Welder will do the following: mig, tig, and stick welding, pipe, steel, and stainless steel welding, pipe fitting; receive instructions, prints, and work orders for the job; plan details of working procedure, tools and material requirements; fabricate equipment by cutting, burning, and welding various metals; and repair equipment by using welding techniques and appropriate welding equipment.
Responsibilities- Flux core, Mig, tig, sub‑arc.
- Pipe, steel, stainless‑steel welding, and other various metals.
- Pipe fitting, structural fitting – GTAW, FCAW, GMAW.
- Receives instructions, prints, and work orders for the job.
- Plans details of working procedure, tools and material requirements.
- Fabricates equipment by cutting, burning, and welding various metals.
- Repairs equipment by using welding techniques and appropriate welding equipment.
- Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded.
- Sets up, assembles, and tacks weld parts.
- Cleans, grinds and deburrs parts after welding.
- Builds up worn or defective surfaces.
- Uses burning equipment to dismantle assemblies and to cut material to size and shape.
- Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly.
- Structural fitting, channel/ square tubing, coping beams.
- 5 years of welding experience.
- Must have GTAW, FCAW, GMAW. Will be tested on all 3.
- Must be or be able to be certified.
- Familiar with iron workers, plasma cutter, grinders, torch, gauging welds.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Physical Demand:
Must be able to lift to 50lbs unassisted. - Working Conditions:

Day shift from 6am to 2:30pm with some overtime Monday – Friday and some Saturdays 6am to 12 noon. - Travel: N/A.
