Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Asthma, Allergy, and ENT Clinic

Provides direct patient care, including IV therapy, under RN direction. Assists and directs ancillary nursing staff, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality personalized care.

Key Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process for assessment, planning, and evaluation.
• Deliver physical, psycho/social, and safety care appropriate for patient age and condition.
• Communicate professionally with patients, families, and staff to ensure a quality experience.
• Adapt to rapid unit changes with a positive attitude.
• Maintain required clinical knowledge, technical skills, and credentials.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current LPN license in state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• IV therapy credentials preferred.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information and work in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.

Physical & Environmental Demands

• Occasional lifting 50‑100 lbs; frequent 25‑50 lbs; constant 10‑20 lbs.
• Exposure to blood, body fluids, and communicable diseases.
• Risk of hazardous medication exposure.
