Overview
Our private group of four academically-minded community radiation oncologists are seeking a dynamic new associate. Our practice’s hospital, Willis Knighton, is a member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network.
Practice and SpecialtiesOur group has been a national leader in Protons, SBRT, HDR brachytherapy, Medical Physics and Nuclear Oncology (theranostics). We will host PTCOG NA 2025.
Culture and HiringA traditional work ethic and the ability to flourish in a team setting are necessary attributes. Interviews will be available during ASTRO.
Recent or new graduates looking for clinical experience in advanced modalities or a seasoned candidate with experience in contemporary therapy are encouraged to apply.
Facilities and EquipmentWe are a single location, double-accredited department with Image-guided compact scanning Proton therapy. We offer photon radiotherapy on three Linacs including Radixact with Clear Imaging. The department utilizes Raysearch planning software, Brain Lab radiosurgery, and Surface-guidance imaging.
Our center is recognized for extensive in-department imaging. MRI Sim, CT Sim, PET/CT, SPECT-CT, and a dedicated compact CT for brachytherapy, all belong to the Radiation Oncology department.
Team and GrowthWe have an award-winning physics and dosimetry team and a successful medical physics residency program with a Theranostics fellowship.
Our group is assisted by 8 RN’s, with each MD having a dedicated nurse and three PA’s who are employed by the group. The practice will likely expand to six members by 2027.
