Broadmoor, LLC is looking for a dependable and safety-focused Skilled Carpenter to join our project team in Shreveport. We value individuals who take pride in their craft, collaborate well with a team, and can be counted on to deliver quality results. Candidates must follow all Broadmoor safety protocols, remain drug-free, and have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
As a Skilled Carpenter, you will be responsible for building, installing, and repairing a variety of permanent wood and temporary components of the structure. You will help to interpret blueprints and plans, measure, and shape materials, and assemble them using hand and power tools while ensuring accuracy and alignment. This broad role also can range from constructing concrete forms to installing architectural accessories.
In addition, you will play an important part in maintaining a safe and clean job site with proper setup and cleanup each day.
Physical Requirements
The ideal candidate will bring proven carpentry experience in construction, along with the ability to read blueprints, follow directions, and perform basic math. You should be comfortable using drills, saws, hammers, wrenches, and other common tools, and capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions, on rough terrain, in trenches, and s role requires the ability to work safely around dust, fumes, noise, and vibration hazards while maintaining focus on quality and safety.
