What You’ll Do

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems including motors, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures and replace or repair components to minimize downtime.
• Conduct inspections and maintenance on mill equipment to ensure safe and optimal operation.
• Assist with mechanical installations and equipment upgrades across the plant.
• Diagnose and repair industrial electrical systems (3‑phase, 480V).
• Support installation and connection of power supply wiring and conduit for new equipment.
• Troubleshoot control panels, motor starters, and components of automation systems.
• Work with PLC/HMI systems (especially Allen Bradley) to identify faults and support automation efficiency.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, terminations, and wiring diagrams.

• 3+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing maintenance role.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills (required).
• Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems, wiring, and automation controls.
• Experience with PLCs and HMIs (Allen Bradley preferred) is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Comfort working in a fast‑paced, physically active environment with rotating shifts.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to escalations when needed.

• Experience with welding and fabrication methods.
• Familiarity with automation systems in a mill, foundry, or similar industrial setting.
• Exposure to high‑voltage troubleshooting or controls integration.
