We are hiring a dependable and skilled Generator Mechanic - A/C Service Technician to join our growing team. This field-based role is ideal for candidates with mechanical and electrical repair experience—particularly with small engines, standby generators, or automatic transfer switches (ATS).

• Travel to residential job sites using a company-provided service vehicle.
• Perform diagnostics, routine maintenance, and repairs on whole‑home standby generators.
• Troubleshoot and service mechanical and electrical components, including ATS systems.
• Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Clearly communicate with customers about services performed and any recommendations.
• Accurately document all work in the service management software.
• Follow safety protocols and industry best practices when working around electricity.
• Support emergency service calls during weather‑related outages or storms, as needed.

• 1+ years of experience in generator service, small engine repair, or related mechanical/electrical work.
• Strong customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.
• Comfortable working independently in the field with minimal supervision.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Physically able to perform job duties, including climbing ladders, lifting equipment, and working outdoors.
• Familiarity with residential generator systems and ATS technology is a plus.

  Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (occasional flexibility for emergencies).
