• Lead, mentor, and support software developers while remaining actively involved in hands‑on application development.
• Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and maintain scalable Java‑based software applications across front‑end and back‑end environments.
• Provide technical direction throughout the software development lifecycle, including architecture, code reviews, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Work with cloud‑based infrastructure, Open Stack environments, databases, APIs, integrations, and Linux‑based systems.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, systems, database, security, and business teams to solve complex software and performance issues.
• Help establish development standards, documentation, best practices, modernization plans, and project delivery priorities.

• Pay: $65,000 to $80,000, DOE based on experience.

• Lead software development projects and provide technical direction for application design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Manage development priorities, timelines, resource assignments, and deliverables across multiple initiatives.
• Mentor developers, review code, support best practices, and help improve development processes.
• Troubleshoot complex software, integration, database, performance, and infrastructure‑related issues.
• 5+ years of professional software development or programming experience required.
• Previous leadership, supervisory, team lead, or software development management experience required.
• Advanced Java development skills and strong object‑oriented programming experience.
• Strong full‑stack development background, including front‑end, back‑end, APIs, and web services.
• Experience with SQL, relational databases, Git or similar source‑control platforms, and Linux‑based environments.
• Experience working with Open Stack and/or cloud infrastructure.
• Understanding of CI/CD, automated deployment processes, Agile/Scrum environments, application integration, scalability, security, and performance optimization.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to explain technical information clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

• Experience modernizing existing applications and recommending more efficient software solutions.
• Background supporting enterprise‑level applications in cloud or hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Experience helping establish software development standards, documentation, and repeatable best practices.
• Ability to balance hands‑on programming responsibilities with team leadership and project management expectations.
