Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $39.54/hr

What’s a typical day as a Buyer? You’ll be:
  • Creating and executing Purchase Orders and Purchase Requisition s.
  • Creating new Material Master numbers and updating project systems component lists in SAP.
  • Reconciling receiving, quality, and invoice discrepancies to ensure an efficient procurement process.
  • Negotiating supplier pricing based on purchasing variables, such as quantity and frequency.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective supplier relationships.
  • Identifying opportunities for e-bidding material on Pall exchanges to achieve site VAVE goals.
  • Supporting production processes and collaborating closely with internal project stakeholders.
  • Managing multiple purchasing-related tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA)
  • 3-5 years of related supply chain experience
    , including production planning.
  • Have demonstrated SAP expertise and are proficient in Oracle, Word, and Excel.
  • Are organized, able to multitask and prioritize in fast-paced, project and production-based environments.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Have strong accounting skills and a detailed understanding of business processes and systems.
  • Excel in building relationships with suppliers and resolving challenges efficiently.
