THE ROLE

The Porter/Dishwasher is responsible for the delivery, maintaining, stocking, cleaning, and ensuring that there is a sufficient supply of products in thefood & beverage areas. Services to include assistance in setup or breaking functions as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Monitors stock levels, obtains supplies and equipment as requested per venue
  • Wash all china, glassware and silverware
  • Clean all equipment, pots and pans
  • Store all equipment in proper locations
  • Sweep and mop all floors in the kitchen
  • Performs and assists with routine inventory on a daily basis of all required stock per area of responsibility
  • Transport food and equipment in a timely manner
  • Understands the importance of prompt and efficient service
  • Assist with emptying pallets and stocking storeroom and side stations
  • Assisting members in a timely, efficient and professional manner
  • Fulfill the assigned opening and closing duties
  • Set up and maintain a clean, neat and safe work area

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty with energy and enthusiasm. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to read, speak and write English Language in order to communicate with guests
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette.
  • At least 1 years’ guest service experience, preferably in the Hospitality Industry
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Ability to interact effectively with co-workers to ensure compliance with company service standards.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10–30 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds).
  • Sufficient mobility to perform production tasks, including reaching, bending, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.
  • Commitment to following all safety policies, procedures, and regulations, including completion of company-wide and job-specific safety training.
COMPENSATION

$20.00/hour and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401(k) plan.
