Job Description - Diesel Technician (253506)

Shift: Monday-Wednesday and every other weekend, 5:00 A.M.

- 3:30 P.M.

• Further develop your maintenance skills as a Diesel Technician in Shrewsbury, MA.
• Handle annual inspections.
• Complete troubleshooting and component replacements.

• Perform PMs, annual inspections and repairs on tractors and trailers.
• Complete express services like tire changes, brake adjustments and minor electrical repairs.
• Communicate status updates to internal customers.

• Technical degree in diesel technology or related field, or a minimum of one year of diesel technician experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to provide own tools within 30 days of hire.

• Additional $1.50 per hour on second and third shift, plus an additional $.65 per hour on weekends.

• Starting wage of $26.20 - $32.70 / hour based on experience. Additional $1.50/hr (Having 50% or greater of the regular weekly scheduled hours worked after 15:00 local time) and $0.65 weekend/hr (weekend hours are defined as hours worked between 2100 Friday and 0500 Monday)

  non-exempt US shop associates working the specific 3 day, 12‑hr shift defined as every Fri/Sat/Sun or every Sat/Sun/Mon receive a $3/hour differential in lieu of the $0.65 for all hours worked and are not eligible for the weekend shift differential.
