Semi-Senior Accountant

Proactive Personnel are currently recruiting for a Semi-Senior Accountant on behalf of a well-established multi-office accountancy firm in Shrewsbury.

As a semi senior accountant, you will play a key part in developing and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring their queries are answered promptly and effectively. You will also play a role in engaging with new prospects and supporting their onboarding process.

Salary Range: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum DOE.

Hours:

Mon-Fri 9am – 5:00pm | 37.5 hours per week

Duties include but not limited to:

* Completion of sole trader accounts & self-assessment tax returns

* Completion of quarterly VAT returns

* Completion of limited company accounts & CT600 returns

* Reviewing of junior staff work

* Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients

* Communicating with clients

Ideal Candidate:

* 2+ years’ experience working within a practice environment.

* Positive attitude

* Great communication skills – written & verbal

* A good team player

* High level of attention to detail

* Strong organisational and time management skills
