Business Support Officer
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Neighbourhood & Enforcement Business Support Team. This role is at the heart of service delivery, supporting teams across Neighbourhood & Enforcement Services and helping ensure customers receive an efficient and responsive service.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Business Support Officer you will manage and prioritise requests received through high‑volume shared mailboxes, coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, respond to customer enquiries, maintain accurate records and support a range of operational and administrative processes. You will also work closely with colleagues to identify and implement improvements that enhance service delivery and customer experience.
Qualifications- Experience working in a busy administrative or business support environment.
- Confidence managing high‑volume shared inboxes and multiple work streams.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Experience of customer service and providing professional responses to enquiries and complaints.
- Ability to work well as part of a team while also using initiative.
