Parts Advisor The Opportunity An established automotive retailer is seeking a Parts Advisor to join its busy dealership team in Exeter. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and customer-focused individual with parts experience or a strong technical background to develop their career within a successful and professional aftersales operation.

The Role As a Parts Advisor , you will be responsible for supporting customers and internal departments with their vehicle parts requirements. You will play a key role in the efficient running of the parts department, ensuring accurate stock management, excellent customer service, and timely parts distribution.

Key Responsibilities Deliver a professional and courteous service when handling customer enquiries. Promote products and services while adhering to company procedures and pricing policies. Accurately order, receive, check, and store vehicle parts. Investigate and report stock discrepancies or damaged items. Process warranty and exchange parts returns, ensuring all required documentation is completed correctly. Prepare and return chargeable items in line with manufacturer and company guidelines.

Pack and dispatch parts safely to customers and business partners. Build and maintain positive working relationships with both internal departments and external customers. Keep customer and prospect records up to date. About You The successful candidate will demonstrate:
Strong organisation and time management skills. The ability to work to deadlines and prioritise effectively. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. A technical qualification or previous experience working with vehicle parts. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to build and maintain customer relationships. Good IT skills and confidence using computer-based systems. Working Hours Monday to Friday 08:30am - 6:00pm 1-hour lunch break Benefits Competitive salary with bonus potential.
