Overview

EMED Group, the largest Patient Transport and Care Partner to the NHS, is looking for a BI Analyst to join our business intelligence team.

The role is full‑time, permanent, remote with occasional national travel. Salary: £40,000‑£50,000 per annum.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain critical reporting suites and dashboards using Power BI, SQL Server, Power Apps and cloud data sources.
  • Deliver planned and ad‑hoc reports, measuring commercial, operational, and quality of service metrics across multiple contracts.
  • Perform trend analysis, forecasting and capacity planning to inform decision‑making.
  • Own data quality practices – validate, cleanse and document key data sources.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (IT, Finance, Operations, HR, Compliance) to translate requirements into BI solutions.
  • Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience with Power BI, including DAX, data modelling, and Power Query.
  • Strong SQL Server skills – design queries, procedures, and ETL processes.
  • Experience with REST APIs, Power Apps, Power Automate, and cloud platforms.
  • Background in business analysis, data visualisation, and storytelling.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
