Quantity Surveyor Oxford | £50,000 - £70,000  Package One Way are working in partnership with one of the South of Englands most respected family-owned construction businesses to recruit a Quantity Surveyor for their Oxford office. Established for over 100 years, our client has built an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality new build, refurbishment, restoration and design & build projects across the commercial, education, healthcare, residential, leisure and heritage sectors.

Operating from five regional offices, the business continues to grow with a strong secured pipeline of work and record financial performance. The Role As Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for projects from pre-construction through to final account, working closely with operational teams, clients and supply chain partners. Projects typically range from £1m to £30m and include a mixture of new build, refurbishment, restoration and design & build schemes across Oxfordshire and the wider South East.

Key Responsibilities Managing subcontractor procurement, accounts and final accounts Preparing valuations, applications for payment and variations Cost reporting, forecasting and budget control Supporting procurement and tender processes Managing project cash flow and financial performance Working closely with site and project management teams Assisting with value engineering and risk management Maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors Supporting successful commercial delivery from inception through to completion Requirements Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor Strong understanding of commercial management within construction Good working knowledge of JCT contracts (NEC beneficial) Experience on new build and/or refurbishment projects Excellent communication and negotiation skills Degree qualified or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management Ambitious, organised and commercially aware Why Join?
