Architects Senior Architectural Technologist

We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a respected, multi‑disciplinary architectural practice with a strong national presence. With a network of over 200 professionals across nine offices and a turnover exceeding £20 million, this employee‑owned practice continues to grow through its commitment to design excellence, collaboration, and client‑focused delivery. They are seeking a talented Senior Architectural Technologist to join their growing Shrewsbury team.

The practice delivers award‑winning projects across a wide range of sectors including Education, Residential, Healthcare, Commercial, Transport, and Leisure. Their current projects focus on various Education projects (£1m - £40m) and large‑scale Healthcare projects (up to £400m). Experience with in either sector would be beneficial but not essential.

• Produce effective working drawing packages with minimum supervision
• Advise on environmental and building regulatory requirements affecting the project
• Carry out Designer Risk Assessments (CDM)
• Co‑ordinate with other consultants and colleagues, disseminate information to team members and negotiate with statutory bodies
• Work on a range of exciting Healthcare & Education projects
• Ensure compliance with design, legal, statutory and professional requirements
• Liaise with and produce documentation for statutory and local approval authorities
• Programme work schedules and carry out inspections at various stages

• Architectural Technologist with minimum five years’ experience
• Demonstrable experience in leading the delivery of production packages
• Good knowledge of Revit with at least three years’ continual use in practice as the primary design/delivery tool
• Good knowledge of UK Construction and Building Law
• Live within a commutable distance of Shrewsbury
