We have a Primary School who is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team from January. The school has a warm, community-focused environment and is committed to providing every pupil with the encouragement and tools they need to succeed.

The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to support learning across KS2, provide one-to-one and small-group interventions, and help maintain a positive, structured classroom environment. You should be proactive, patient, and confident supporting pupils with a range of needs—including SEND—while promoting independence and engagement.

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant
• Strong communication skills and a positive, calm approach
• Ability to support KS2 pupils with both learning and behaviour
• Experience with SEND is highly desirable
• A team player who can follow direction and also work independently
• Reliable, committed, and ready to contribute to a thriving school community
• For all teaching roles you will need to hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
