The RoleWe are seeking a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to work across KS3 and KS4 in a secondary school in Telford, starting January 2026. This temp-to-perm opportunity is ideal for someone looking to establish themselves within a school setting and progress into a longer‑term role.
You’ll be responsible for delivering pre‑set work, maintaining positive behaviour, and ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of teaching staff. This role plays a vital part in supporting pupils’ learning and maintaining a calm, productive classroom environment.
The CandidateThe successful candidate will be professional, adaptable, and confident managing classrooms.
You should be:
- Experienced working with secondary‑aged students (KS3 & KS4)
- Confident in classroom and behaviour management
- Able to engage pupils and maintain focus on learning tasks
- Reliable, flexible, and able to adapt to different school environments
- Considering a future career in teaching or education (desirable but not essential)
