Teaching Assistant – Wem

Excell Supply are currently recruiting for a reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work within primary and secondary schools in Wem and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils in a positive and engaging classroom environment, working closely with experienced teaching staff to help students reach their full potential.

• Support the class teacher with the delivery of lessons
• Provide small group and general classroom support
• Assist with preparing classroom resources and activities
• Encourage pupil engagement and positive behaviour
• Support pupils with varying learning abilities

• Have previous experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)
• Be confident supporting pupils across different key stages
• Have strong communication and teamwork skills
• Be adaptable, proactive, and reliable
• Hold a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
• Have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one
