The Role:

Aspire People is seeking a motivated and experienced Year 6 HLTA to join a vibrant school in Shrewsbury for a 12-week contract. This role will involve supporting Year 6 students in their SATs preparations, delivering targeted interventions, and providing general teaching assistant support within the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

Support Year 6 students in their SATs preparation, delivering tailored interventions to boost performance.

Work with small groups or on a 1:1 basis to focus on specific areas of learning.

Provide classroom support to the class teacher, assisting with the delivery of lessons.

Encourage and support students in their learning and development, fostering independence.

Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to the class teacher.

Ensure a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment for all students.

Assist with behaviour management and promote a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere.

Requirements:

Experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or in a similar support role.

Strong knowledge of the Year 6 curriculum and SATs preparation.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

A proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting students.

A positive attitude with a passion for helping students succeed.
