An exceptional hospital school based in Camden is seeking to appoint an experienced and dynamic Primary Teacher with Lead Practitioner experience to join their dedicated team.

This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to work within a specialist setting, supporting pupils with medical needs. The successful candidate will bring strong mainstream or SEN primary experience alongside proven leadership capability.

About the Role:

• 50% teaching within the primary phase
• 50% leading and supporting the primary teacher
• Providing high-quality teaching tailored to pupils with medical and additional needs
• Supporting curriculum development and best practice across the primary provision
• Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

The role will begin on 16th March 2026, allowing a short handover period, and will run as maternity cover until Easter 2027.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (Primary trained)
• Have experience as a Lead Practitioner (or equivalent leadership responsibility)
• Have recent experience teaching in a mainstream primary or SEN setting
• Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the primary curriculum
• Be adaptable, resilient, and committed to inclusive practice
• Have strong mentoring and coaching skills
