The role involves teaching Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that develop students’ understanding of physical and human geography, environmental issues, and global challenges. You will support pupils in preparing for GCSE Geography, encouraging analytical thinking and strong subject knowledge across mixed‑ability groups.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons across KS3 & KS4.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a positive, well‑managed classroom environment with high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
- Hold QTS or be an ECT.
- Have experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4.
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills.
- Be committed to supporting pupil progress and engagement.
Pay is aligned with the Main Pay Scale and distributed pro‑rated for the supply contract.
