Salary:
Up to £42,000.00 per annum

Hours:

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.45am – 4.20pm

Contract:

Permanent, Term Time Only

Start:

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and forward‑thinking Esports and ICT Teacher / Instructor to use technology and gaming as powerful tools for engagement. This role is ideal for someone who can inspire pupils to reconnect with learning while building confidence, resilience and essential life skills through creative and meaningful digital experiences.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Plan and deliver adapted ICT and Esports sessions linked to EHCP outcomes
  • Develop pupils’ digital literacy, teamwork, communication and problem‑solving skills
  • Use Esports as a tool to improve engagement, attendance and emotional regulation
  • Contribute to a broad and balanced curriculum, including vocational pathways
  • Support pupils’ personal development and preparation for future pathways

What we are looking for:

  • Experience working with pupils in SEN or SEMH settings
  • A strong interest in ICT, gaming or digital learning
  • Ability to build positive and trusting relationships
  • A calm, resilient and consistent approach to behaviour
  • QTS/QTLS or willingness to work towards a teaching qualification
  • Experience delivering ICT or vocational learning
  • Understanding of trauma‑informed practice
  • Knowledge of Esports within an educational context
