Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate the Annual Review process for EHCPs in line with the Education Act 1996 and Children and Families Act 2014. Ensure all reviews and associated processes are completed within statutory timescales. Draft, amend and maintain high-quality EHCP documentation. Attend Annual Reviews where required. Coordinate placements for pupils with EHCPs, including special schools, independent settings and further education colleges. Prioritise and progress cases for children looked after by the Local Authority. Prepare briefing notes, case summaries and recommendations for senior officers. Maintain accurate records and ensure all information is handled confidentially. Requirements:
Extensive experience working within SEND and EHCP services. Strong understanding of SEND legislation and statutory processes. Proven experience drafting and amending EHCPs to a high standard. Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage a busy caseload independently and work to strict deadlines.
