Learning & Development Officer

Overview

We are recruiting a Learning and Development Officer who plays a vital role in delivering the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training in Learning Disability and Autism (Oliver's Training) for health and social care staff.

• Lead and support co-trainers who will be autistic or people with a learning disability.
• Supervise expert co-trainers appointed for their lived experience and coordinate delivery of the national training material.
• Provide ongoing support to the expert co-trainers and ensure high-quality training delivery.

• In-depth understanding of learning disability and autism.
• Experience in delivering or facilitating training, preferably in health and social care settings.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and coordinate trainers with lived experience.
