The Opportunity:

Long Term Futures are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive primary school in Ketley from September 2026. This is a full-time role supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, working closely with class teachers and SLT to provide tailored support for children with a range of additional needs.

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils across KS1 and KS2
• Support children with a range of SEN, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, speech and language needs, and learning difficulties
• Deliver targeted interventions linked to EHCP outcomes and individual learning plans
• Assist teachers in adapting lessons to meet individual pupil needs
• Promote positive behaviour, confidence, and independence
• Support pupils' emotional wellbeing and social development
• Work collaboratively with teachers, the SENCO, parents, and external professionals
• Help create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment

• Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a primary or specialist setting
• Experience working with pupils across KS1 and/or KS2
• Good understanding of Autism (ASD), ADHD, and additional learning needs
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• Patient, resilient, and nurturing approach
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
