Salary: £13.50 per hour (Rising to £14.00 per hour after probation)

Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Trainer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering CPD-accredited training to both internal team members and external professionals.

You’ll work closely with the Director, Training team, Service Manager, and Practitioners, playing a vital part in shaping how PEGS grows and supports others through training and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Delivery & Design: Design and deliver high-quality training sessions for professionals and team members, keeping content aligned with CPD standards and PEGS’ values.

Content Tailoring: Adapt training materials to suit different audiences and sectors (e.g., social care, education, justice).

Continuous Improvement: Update and refine learning resources based on participant feedback, evaluations, and emerging best practices.

Events & Workshops: Support and facilitate conferences, online workshops, and regional learning events.

Resource Management: Maintain accurate training records, feedback forms, handbooks, and operational documents.

1+ years’ experience designing and delivering training to professionals or diverse groups.

Strong facilitation and public speaking skills.

Demonstrated understanding of trauma-informed practice and safeguarding.

Experience with lived-experience inclusion in learning environments.

Understanding of the charity / third sector.

UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (frequent travel required).

Familiarity with grant funding and impact reporting.

Experience in website updates and content management.

Previous work in education, charities, or community-based projects.
