Protocol Education are currently recruiting a General Cover Teacher to join one of our reputable schools in Shrewsbury.

This is an exciting opportunity for a General Cover Teacher to work with pupils across KS1 to KS4
, including students with SEMH and/or ASD

The Role
  • Position: General Cover Teacher
  • Location: Shrewsbury
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Hours: Full-time and part-time opportunities available
  • Age Range: KS1-KS4
  • Experience: Primary and/or Secondary teaching experience welcomed
  • Essential: QTS / Qualified Teacher Status
The Ideal General Cover Teacher

  • Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and/or a relevant PGCE
  • Believes every student, regardless of background or ability, can make outstanding progress
  • Can deliver engaging, creative and well-structured lessons
  • Uses a range of teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs
  • Is confident working with pupils with SEMH and/or ASD
  • Builds positive and respectful relationships with students, staff and parents
  • Is caring, resilient and committed to supporting student wellbeing
  • Is enthusiastic about professional development and continuous improvement

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
