We are currently working closely with a lovely primary school in Shrewsbury who are looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Year 5 Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis, with the opportunity for the role to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role- Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the Year 5 curriculum.
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Supporting pupils to achieve their academic and personal potential.
- Differentiating learning to meet individual needs.
- Assessing and tracking pupil progress.
- Maintaining high standards of behaviour and learning.
- Building strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
- Working collaboratively with the wider teaching team.
- Contributing to the wider life of the school.
- Following school policies and safeguarding procedures.
- Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Has experience teaching within a UK primary school.
- Has a good understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Is confident teaching Year 5.
- Has strong classroom and behaviour-management skills.
- Is enthusiastic, reliable and committed.
- Can build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
- Is passionate about helping children achieve their potential.
- Is looking for a long-term opportunity, with the potential to secure a permanent role.
- ECTs with the relevant experience and qualifications may also be considered.
