A specialist contaminated land and hydrogeology team is seeking a Senior Hydrogeologist to support projects across water resources, land development and landfill sectors. As a Senior Hydrogeologist, you will lead projects from inception through to completion while strengthening client relationships and supporting team growth.

This Senior Hydrogeologist role combines hands-on hydrogeological assessment with groundwater modelling, risk evaluation and strategic input. Flexible hybrid working is available alongside a strong Shrewsbury base.

Key responsibilities
Manage hydrogeology projects and client relationships
Develop conceptual site models and groundwater models
Interpret datasets and deliver robust technical advice
Prepare and review reports aligned with legislation
Mentor junior staff and support professional development
Contribute to business development within your specialism

Candidate requirements
Chartered status with relevant professional body
Degree in Hydrogeology or related discipline
Strong field monitoring and sampling experience

Experience with analytical and numerical groundwater models
Confident stakeholder and project management skills
