Electrical Test Engineer – Power Generation
West Midlands based with UK wide travel including stay‑aways. Salary 45,000 – 55,000 GBP + overtime opportunities, company vehicle and industry training.
Responsibilities- Conduct protection testing of generators, substations, and transformers at UK, European and US sites.
- Complete documentation and support electrical design development.
- Travel to sites and perform site‑based testing, while carrying out office‑based tasks (60:40 site‑to‑office split).
- HND/HNC in Power sector or equivalent.
- Experience in testing of switchgears, transformers and substations.
- Working knowledge of 3‑phase power systems.
- Ability and willingness to travel UK wide and remain on stay‑aways.
- Design training available.
