B1 Licensed Engineer - Airbus Helicopters

Locations: Shawbury, Oxford or RAF Valley

Pay: £60.00 per hour PAYE / £80.26 per hour Umbrella

Contract: 6 months (likely extension)

Guidant Global is partnering with Airbus Helicopters to recruit experienced B1 Licensed Engineers to support critical rotorcraft maintenance operations across multiple UK sites.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a diverse fleet of Airbus helicopters in a high-performing, safety-focused environment, where your expertise will directly contribute to keeping aircraft mission-ready and operational.

• Certifying maintenance and repair work on Airbus rotorcraft (including AS350, AS355, EC135, EC145 and more)
• Carrying out scheduled and unscheduled inspections in line with regulatory standards
• Performing maintenance across airframe, power plant, mechanical and electrical systems
• Supervising and certifying the work of maintenance fitters
• Supporting hangar operations, including aircraft movement and general upkeep
• Ensuring full compliance with UK CAA regulations (Part 145, Part M)

Essential

• Part 66 B1.3 Licence (Turbine Rotorcraft)
• Strong knowledge of engine and airframe systems
• Experience working in aircraft maintenance environments (ideally rotary)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable

• Rotary-wing aircraft experience
• Type ratings (training can be provided for the right candidate)

We also welcome applications from engineers currently working towards their B1.3 licence with strong hands‑on experience.

• 40 hours per week, typically between 07:00 - 19:00
• Potential shift pattern: 7 days on / 7 days off
• Occasional UK travel to support operational needs
