Working within a highly skilled depth maintenance environment, you'll carry out inspections, diagnostics, repairs, modifications, and functional testing on aircraft systems and components — ensuring aircraft remain safe, compliant, and mission-ready. The Role As an Avionics Technician, you will support aircraft availability through scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities across aircraft systems and components. You will be responsible for diagnosing faults, completing repairs and modifications, conducting system testing, and ensuring all work is carried out safely and in accordance with approved engineering standards. This role is suited to aircraft technicians who take pride in detailed fault finding, technical problem solving, and maintaining high standards of workmanship.

Key Responsibilities Aircraft Maintenance Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance activities Maintain aircraft avionics systems and associated components Diagnose faults and complete rectification activities Carry out repairs, modifications, and functional testing Ensure aircraft systems remain safe, compliant, and operationally available Complete maintenance tasks accurately against required schedules Maintain engineering records and technical documentation Quality & Compliance Work in accordance with approved maintenance procedures Maintain tooling control and equipment standards Support compliance and safety requirements Ensure high standards of aircraft engineering practice Maintain technical competence through training and development Requirements Essential Experience Aircraft avionics maintenance experience Ability to apply practical engineering knowledge Experience maintaining, operating, or supporting engineering systems and equipment Strong fault diagnosis and problem-solving ability Confident using computer-based engineering systems Ability to work effectively with engineering teams and stakeholders High level of personal accountability and attention to detail Qualifications Completed Engineering Apprenticeship (Aeronautical Engineering preferred) OR Military equivalent engineering qualification Including:
