Seymour John Recruitment are partnering with a respected organisation in the Shrewsbury area to appoint a new team member within their finance function. This position is available on a permanent basis.

This role sits within a friendly, collaborative finance team where you’ll contribute to a range of day‑to‑day activities designed to keep financial processes running smoothly. What You’ll Be Doing

* Assisting with invoice handling and other daily transactional tasks

* Reconciling account balances and helping maintain accurate ledgers

* Supporting the preparation of scheduled payments

* Managing incoming queries from colleagues and suppliers

* Taking part in month‑end routines and assisting the finance lead

* Providing wider administrative support when required

What We’re Looking For

* Experience in a finance‑focused or transaction‑based role

* Good accuracy, organisation, and a proactive mindset

* Comfortable using spreadsheets and financial systems

* Strong communication skills and confidence in dealing with internal teams

* Someone reliable, adaptable, and keen to continue developing
