Seymour John are recruiting for a Finance Assistant on behalf of a growing manufacturing business based in Telford.

This is a hybrid role, offering a mix of home and office working, and is available on either a temporary or permanent basis. The position has arisen due to an immediate vacancy, with strong long-term potential for the right candidate.

You will provide day-to-day support to the finance function, ensuring accurate processing and effective communication across the business.

• Processing purchase orders
• Posting sales and purchase invoices onto the accounting system
• Preparing supplier payment runs
• Managing and monitoring the finance email inbox
• Assisting with basic reconciliations
• Supporting VAT and invoicing processes
• General administrative support within finance

• Previous experience in a finance or accounts-based role
• Understanding of invoicing, VAT, and basic reconciliations
• Experience using accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Confident communication skills
• Proactive and reliable approach

• Working pattern:
  Hybrid
• Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 (depending on experience)

  Temporary initially, with the opportunity to become permanent
