Overview:
The role is the number 2 finance officer with one direct report. The successful candidate will undertake all aspects of financial management and ensure that the financial processes, systems and controls, including risk management, operate effectively.

• Managing transactional team and overseeing/reviewing sales ledger, purchase ledger, stock, cash, bank and GL entries.
• Ensuring that financial processes, systems and controls are operating effectively.
• Maintaining statutory records for the business.
• Company taxation management (VAT, Corporation Tax, Plastic, Waste, Customs and Excise, Class 1a, R&D, CCA).
• Fixed asset and capital allowances.
• Treasury management.
• Liaison with banks, forecasting and MI data submission.
• Budgeting and forecasting (cashflow, balance sheet).
• Liaising with auditors and preparing audited accounts.
• Project management of process changes and implementations.
• Balance sheet reconciliations.
• Other ad‑hoc duties.

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA full or part‑qualified or equivalent.
• Experience in operational financial and statutory accounts.
• Advanced MS Office, especially Excel, required.
• Project management experience an advantage.
