Senior Planning Officer

£39,862 - £42,839 per annum

Scale PO3, 37 hrs per week Permanent

You’ll be the lead officer for major, high-profile planning applications, including strategic sites coming forward as part of our new Local Plan. You’ll work at the heart of a holistic, co-located team of expert consultees, all dedicated to delivering excellent planning outcomes.

We’re looking for someone with:
  • Proven experience in managing major planning applications and presenting cases to formal legal Inquiries.
  • Detailed knowledge of dealing with Planning applications and Section 106 Agreements and sound working knowledge of Development Management, including local, regional and national policies and priorities.
  • Excellent and proven time management skills
  • A passion for place-making and sustainable development
  • The ability to work collaboratively across disciplines and with stakeholders
