Housekeeper; Bank

Shrewsbury Hospital – Housekeeper (Bank, Ad hoc). Pay: £12.84 per hour. Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad‑hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

As a Housekeeper you will clean and maintain patient wards, bathrooms, and other inpatient areas, ensuring a clean, safe and pleasant environment for patients. Your duties include room cleaning, waste removal, linen collection, and deep cleaning. You will plan your work and time with assistance from our Heads of Housekeeping to ensure cleaning does not interfere with patient experience.

You will work closely with the Infection Prevention team and report incidents to relevant team members.
