Orion is hiring a proactive, detail driven Buyer to keep fast moving manufacturing lines supplied with the right electro mechanical components—from metalwork and electronics to specialist electrical items. If you love solving problems at speed and staying cool under pressure, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do:

Own the purchasing cycle: source quotes, evaluate suppliers, and raise POs—fast.

Protect uptime: monitor delivery schedules and prevent production delays.

Guard quality: ensure materials hit strict specification and compliance standards.

Fix issues early: resolve pricing errors, late deliveries, and non conformance quickly.

Chase & expedite: track shipments and follow up proactively with suppliers.

Stay audit ready: keep POs, files, and records organised for full traceability.

What You’ll Bring :

2 years in procurement/purchasing within engineering or manufacturing.

Confident negotiation and clear, professional communication.

Hands on experience with MRP/ERP/SAP.

Electro mechanical purchasing background (highly desirable).

Sharp attention to detail and a collaborative, solutions first mindset.

Calm, composed, and effective when working under pressure.
