Assembly​/Machine Operative

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing company in their search for Assembly/Machine Operative to work in their leading facility in Shrewsbury
.

• £13.10 per hour for rotating shift and £13.52 for nights
• 2 shifts available – Monday to Friday rotating weekly 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM AND Sunday to Thursday 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• Temporary – Permanent position

• Perform hands‑on production and assembly functions including running machines and packing
• Ensure your designated machine is operated in accordance with the required production schedule
• Conduct visual checks on the machine prior to operating them
• Ensure the orders manufactured meet the required customer standards
• Complete all relevant paperwork in relation to the role
• Follow health & safety regulations
• Keep a clean and tidy work area
• Work in a stand‑alone role
• Meet daily production targets

• Previous experience in a similar role – ESSENTIAL
• Happy to work a repetitive role within a small team environment – ESSENTIAL
• Passion to progress into a higher role in future
• Be in good standard of health to be able to work in an upright, repetitive position for the shift duration – ESSENTIAL
• Ability to demonstrate agility with hands to assemble small fastening systems – ESSENTIAL
• Keen eye for detail – ESSENTIAL
• Due to site location, own transport is essential
