PositionMechanical Engineers – Mechanical Fitters (Shropshire )
Salary & Benefits£29,000 – £32,000 + Paid Overtime, Pension OTE £47,000. Friday afternoons off.
LocationShropshire. Commute from Telford, Wolverhampton, Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury, Stafford.
Role SummaryAs part of the Mechanical Fitting team, you will carry out the assembly of all mechanical systems & equipment for large robot automation installations in the UK & overseas. Once fully trained, Mechanical Fitters will be responsible for complex and interesting projects in a clean, modern facility.
Requirements- Hands‑on experience of mechanical equipment assembly or machine building
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Experience of mechanical inspection
- Sound knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Self‑motivated and able to use initiative in prioritising tasks
- Keen to accept responsibility and accountability
- Professional manner, able to represent the company to a high standard
- Basic tool kit required, supplemented by company tool allowance scheme
