Mechanical Engineers – Mechanical Fitters (Shropshire )

£29,000 – £32,000 + Paid Overtime, Pension OTE £47,000. Friday afternoons off.

Shropshire. Commute from Telford, Wolverhampton, Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury, Stafford.

As part of the Mechanical Fitting team, you will carry out the assembly of all mechanical systems & equipment for large robot automation installations in the UK & overseas. Once fully trained, Mechanical Fitters will be responsible for complex and interesting projects in a clean, modern facility.

• Hands‑on experience of mechanical equipment assembly or machine building
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Experience of mechanical inspection
• Sound knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Self‑motivated and able to use initiative in prioritising tasks
• Keen to accept responsibility and accountability
• Professional manner, able to represent the company to a high standard
• Basic tool kit required, supplemented by company tool allowance scheme
