Are you an experienced Production Planner, Materials Planner or Supply Chain Planner with a background in FMCG or food manufacturing?
Due to continued growth, a growing FMCG manufacturer is looking to recruit a Production & Materials Planner to manage production scheduling, materials planning and inventory across a busy, fast-paced operation.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a complex manufacturing environment, balancing customer demand, materials availability, production capacity and frequent line changeovers.
Responsibilities- Developing achievable production plans based on customer orders, capacity and resource availability
- Ensuring raw materials and packaging are available to support manufacturing requirements Adjusting schedules to accommodate changing priorities, product changeovers and operational demands
- Managing planning data, production orders and product information within the ERP system
- Supporting new product launches and ensuring a smooth transition into production
- Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating stock movements between locations
- Identifying potential supply risks and implementing solutions to minimise disruption
- Collaborating with operational teams to improve planning accuracy and efficiency
- Previous experience within Production Planning, Materials Planning or Supply Chain Planning
- Background within FMCG, food manufacturing or another fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment
- Experience managing complex production schedules with frequent changeovers and short lead times
- Strong ERP system experience
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence across multiple departments
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
