Overview
Lead and implement Deaf Reach’s marketing strategy, working with a small volunteer team to support fundraising and awareness. Your experience will help a growing international charity support deaf children and young people in Sub‑Saharan Africa.
What difference will you make?By strengthening how we share our story and impact, you’ll help us reach new supporters, grow fundraising, and ultimately enable more deaf children and young people across Sub‑Saharan Africa to access education, skills and future opportunities.
What are we looking for?We’re looking for someone with at over 5 years’ professional experience in marketing, communications, or brand development.
You should be confident translating strategy into action, leading priorities, and remotely coordinating others in a small‑charity environment. Strong communication and messaging skills are essential, alongside a pragmatic, self‑directed approach. An interest in international development, education or disability rights is welcome but not essential.
What will you be doing?Deaf Reach is seeking an experienced Marketing Lead to take ownership of implementing our marketing strategy. You will manage, coordinate and support volunteer marketing roles, oversee messaging and content across channels, and ensure marketing activity supports fundraising and organisational priorities. You’ll work closely with the Executive Officer to translate strategy into clear, realistic action in a small charity setting.
