Endoscopy Practitioner - RGN​/ODP; Bank

Up to £25 per hour depending on skills and experience

As an Endoscopy Practitioner (ODP or RN) at our hospital, you’ll be focused, detail‑oriented, empathetic and possess strong communication skills. You must be registered with the appropriate governing body and bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC or HCPC, with post‑registration experience in an endoscopy environment.

• Work in a multidisciplinary team covering a varied patient caseload
• Use state‑of‑the‑art technology, equipment and facilities
• Supervise, support and develop junior members of the team
• Provide high‑quality perioperative care in a multidisciplinary team setting
• Create high‑quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence based
• Have ample opportunities for continuous growth and personal development

Registered with the appropriate governing body (NMC or HCPC) and having post‑registration experience in an endoscopy environment. Must be detail‑oriented, empathetic and possess strong communication skills.

Nuffield Health Shrewsbury Hospital is a purpose‑built facility with 30 en‑suite bedrooms, 3 operating theatres, an endoscopy suite, an Ambulatory Care Unit and a busy outpatients department. The hospital specialises in orthopaedics, ophthalmology, cosmetic surgery, women’s health, general surgery, urology and interventions for chronic pain management.

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad‑hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.
