Staff Nurse – Pre-Assessment

Location: Shrewsbury

Time type: Full time – includes some Saturday work on a rota basis

Salary: Up to £34,001.50 per annum depending on experience

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

You are registered with the appropriate governing body (e.g., NMC) and bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration. With post‑registration experience, you are a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.

• Be part of a close-knit team delivering matron-led care in a consultant-led service
• As the first point of contact you will work with leading talent and professionals to make the right assessments for patients prior to their surgery
• Demonstrate a broad knowledge base and assessment skills to ensure patient care
• Fully understand and support the needs of each patient and their family
• Offer comfort and reassurance, providing the highest standards of care
• Build your experience across new practices, equipment and facilities
• Work with practitioners in other areas, understanding that continuity in patient care is key
