Russell Taylor Group have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Technical manager to lead the QA function at a strategic and operational level, maintaining and improving BRC and company standards.

The role will be across two sites in close proximity and will collaborate with production, operations, and commercial teams to ensure product quality, customer trust, and long-term business success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the site's Food Safety Management System as well as acting as HACCP Team Leader
• Approve and review suppliers; handle technical/QA enquiries
• Conduct internal, supplier, and third-party audits
• Manage customer complaints, non-conformances, and corrective actions
• Interpret lab and analysis reports; oversee inspections and testing
• Deliver staff training, inductions, and continuous development
• Drive continuous improvement across QA and technical functions
• Develop and execute QA strategies, KPIs, and action plans
• Collaborate with Production, Supply Chain, Commercial, and Finance teams
• Mentor, coach, and build a high-performing QA team
• Present QA updates to senior leadership and external stakeholders
• Maintain QA documentation, audits, records, and compliance
• Maintain HACCP and Food Safety training across teams
• Achieve CPMU
