Laboratory Technician – Shrewsbury

At ALS we work with cutting‑edge techniques to analyse food and environmental samples. This role places you at the heart of our laboratory operations, supporting vital testing processes and maintaining high‑quality standards.

• Perform analyses in accordance with documented methodology.
• Follow all processes and procedures to maximise role efficiency.
• Conduct daily quality control checks and calibrations of equipment.
• Maintain a clean and tidy workstation.
• Comply with quality management systems, health and safety procedures, and protocols.
• Keep accurate records of all activities and results.

• Experience in a high‑throughput working environment.
• Good IT skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure.
