- £50,000 - £60,000
- 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday – Friday, office-based role
- 33 days holiday, including bank holidays

- Background in a Supplier Quality Manager role, quality engineering, or manufacturing quality environments
- Proven experience carrying out supplier audits and handling supplier-related quality issues
- Solid knowledge of quality management systems and root cause analysis methods
- Excellent organisational abilities with strong communication skills
- Capable of collaborating effectively across internal teams and external supplier networks
- Competent IT user with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- HNC qualification or higher in an engineering or technology-related field is desirable
- Lead Auditor certification or relevant auditing experience would be considered an advantage
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee supplier quality performance across a portfolio of key suppliers
- Create, implement, and sustain supplier quality monitoring systems along with performance KPI tracking
- Carry out supplier evaluations and, where necessary, perform on-site audits of supplier facilities
- Collaborate closely with Purchasing, Production, Engineering, and Quality departments to address and resolve supplier-related quality concerns
- Drive and manage supplier corrective action processes, including supporting root cause analysis investigations
- Contribute to the enhancement and ongoing development of supplier approval procedures and wider supplier quality systems
- Promote and lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on strengthening supplier quality performance
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers while ensuring all quality standards and expectations are consistently met
