What you will be doing- Greeting customers and providing assistance
- Sorting donated items and quality‑checking before sale
- Ensuring donated goods are in excellent condition
- Pricing items ready for display
- Stockroom housekeeping
- Replenishing shop floor stock
- Interest in the shop and enthusiasm for fundraising
- Ability to work as part of a team with other volunteers
- High standards for product quality
- Willingness to assist with a range of tasks as requested
- Experience for your CV
- New skills in customer service, communication, and teamwork
- Opportunities to meet new people and join the local community
- Training, including GUEST customer‑service training
- Contribution to helping pets in need
This volunteering role is a fixed‑term of 12 months for individuals completing their Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award. You must complete the required hours so we can sign your award off.
